When I got the first draft of the Metal Like Me back from the publisher I was highly disappointed in their vision. The letters were block and a Curious George yellow. It did not follow my dummy book and gave the impression that the author was trying to capitalize off metal heads instead of relate to them. Rest assured that I was one who got in the pits, raised the crowd surfers, banged my head, and threw up the horns. The publisher was happy to change the look to match my vision and the results speak for themselves.
Below is a few pics of my 3rd time and last time seeing Slayer. Each time was as great as the last and my the memories of this show never fade.
